One Year in Mission+ brings together these two initiatives: OYiM and UCI. This model has successfully withstood the test of time. Here are some points that make it extremely compelling:
- It empowers young adults to be leaders
- It develops long-term, self-sustaining ministry opportunities
- It effectively reaches unchurched people groups
- It blends the ministry of church leadership and laypeople
- It retains Adventist young people and strengthens their faith
- It can be globally reproducible
