E M. Bounds in his book Power Through Prayer stated, “The church is looking for better methods; God is looking for better men.” Many students have contacted us with questions such as: How do you start a campus ministry on a secular university? What to do once an organization is formed? What kind of social events can we put on? As cliché as this may sound, there is no secret recipe to a successful campus ministry aside from converted students. There are other religious student organizations that have larger budgets, fancier facilities, and even full-time staff members, so looking to one-up them using their methods puts you at a disadvantage. You just cannot compete. Rather, our power must come from God with biblical simplicity as our methodology.
Listed below are mp3s from the CD: A Work That Must Be Done. These recordings on public campus ministries are resources that will inspire and encourage you to become a true representative of Christ on a secular university campus. Afterward, if you would like to contact us with questions not answered by the mp3s, please use the form found on this website.
